Hi! I'm Alex.
I am not here for the superficial. I am here for the honesty and intention.
I tirelessly try to live a life full of meaningful experiences, love and compassion in everything I do and relationships that fill me up.
And I travel the US photographing people who truly embody this belief in their most intimate relationships. I am for those who cherish their connection to each other.
I followed my heart and created a life I love with the people I love. It hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows, but it is honest and true to me.

Any way you think about it, it's about connection. Elopements are about the connection between you and your future spouse. Adventure is about your connection with nature. And photography is about your connection with your memories.

My Loves
My Family is EVERYTHING.
I truly believe in the saying “you choose your own path,” whether that’s in love or in life. I don’t have the normal credentials of a photographer… I am a scientist and PhD by trade, but my passions are creative and my heart is in nature.
I took a HUGE leap (for me at least) and quit my comfortable and successful career in the food industry to create the life I wanted. The combination of photography and the outdoors, as well as my desire to serve others made becoming an adventure elopement photographer a perfect match.
And I wouldn’t be here today without My Loves, my family & Dingo.
When I am not working you can find me rock climbing, fly-fishing, going on doggo hikes and runs, gardening, or practicing my newest adventure of learning to throw pottery!
All these passions would not be complete without My Loves. We all love spending time together outside making our own adventures, big or small.

We had so much fun and felt so comfortable having Alex be part of this very exciting event! The photos are beautiful, just what we imagined. Some Other Fun Things About Me.
I am an introvert, but...
I rock climb & hike.
Utah is my current home & I love it here.
Coffee always.
I love dogs.
I studied Nutrition and Sports Science in college and so good healthy food and being active is important to me. That is also why I love to garden and pickle. Nothing beats eating fresh tomatoes straight off the vine.
And all animals. I grew up on a farm riding horses. And so Dingo, my doggo, is my best friend and work buddy. Adventures with him are my favorite.
I like listening to people's stories and truly getting to know them on a deeper level. So going for walks and just spending time talking about whatever is on your mind is one of my most favorite things. Connection.
But, I grew up in New Jersey, went to school in Connecticut and Virginia and worked in many states including New York, Michigan and Georgia.
But, I love Wyoming and secretly hope to own a cabin there.
Eating out is fun... but, I LOVE visiting and tasting coffee from local coffee shops everywhere I visit. It must be my nerdy food scientist side of me coming out!
