One of the best parts of finding your person is having someone to adventure with. Linda and Dan did this on their Arches National park adventure session, and it was just as beautiful as it sounds. Come along on this journey friends, it was beautiful.
Before our adventure session at the Arches National Park I wanted to get to know Linda and Dan better.
So we met at the Moab Brewery the evening before. We chatted the night away like old friends meeting up for dinner and drinks. They road tripped over from Oregon to see as much as they could of the beauty Utah has to offer and decided to have the memories documented.
They are the sweetest people and their love for each other is so glaringly obvious to anyone who meets them. There is no doubt they are two halves of the same soul.
They took me on a little trip down their memory lane and they have a beautiful story so I had to share with you!
Linda and Dan met through a mutual friend when she was 23 and he was just a few years older. That first night in line for a club they hit it off but life got busy and time went by. Sometimes the timing just isn’t what it will be later and lovely things are put on hold until it’s their time.
Months later they met again in line, this time things went a little differently! Dan wanted to impress Linda so he paid for all of their friends’ cover charges! (Dan denies this but Linda remembers it happening!) This was the night of their first kiss, but the timing must’ve not been right here either because they went their separate ways once again.
Third time’s the charm in this story, because months later they met again at a bbq!
It was the start of an eventful day that ended with a lost phone and Dan crashing on Linda’s couch so he wouldn’t risk losing touch with her. Of course, Dan got Linda a new phone the next day and they went on their first date a week later!
After that, they were inseparable. They had surprise birthday dinners and after two weeks they had fallen for each other. When Dan’s residency in Cleveland was set to start they realized they were in love already. So they did the long distance thing. After 6 months of long distance, Dan asked Linda to move to Cleveland with him. She put in her two weeks, made the move and never looked back.
Things have changed for them over the years. Now they enjoy adventuring, like hiking and kayaking with their dogs!
That love for life led them to their Arches National Park Adventure Session.
The next morning we met before sunrise at a top secret Forever to the Moon spot! We watched the sun come up and paint the sky with beautiful shades of romance.
After we finished exploring this corner of the Arches National Park we moved on to two of the most iconic arches and found some secluded spots. After that we finished our day at one last beautiful red arch and a breathtaking slot canyon. The scenery never disappoints here, it was a wonderland of red rocks and blue skies.
We explored for their adventure session together. Arches National Park has no shortage of beautiful spots to capture. I’m so glad I was there to see this truly joyous photoshoot behind my lens.
