Have you decided to have an elopement wedding, but are racking your brains figuring out what to do? It is totally understandable, elopements don’t have a general timeline or template to follow like you do for big weddings. And not many people have done them so there are not a lot of examples to go by or find inspiration from. And that is the point! An elopement can look like a lot of different things, it can be literally whatever you dream it to be. I am serious, do what you love and get married while doing it. That’s it. Don’t over complicate by planning too much, focus on what the day means to you and soak that up!
But, to help give some ideas, below is an example of a full day adventure elopement in Park City, Utah. This timeline can be fully adapted to fit what you love to do, to be in a different location and even to include your family and friends in some or all of it. Use it as a guide for what your day could look like!

Picture the day starting out with a sunrise hike and ceremony at a beautiful lake in the mountains. Then enjoying a picnic lunch out on the trail to enjoy nature together. After the hike and lunch, then returning to the airbnb to take a rest. Next, taking a short drive into town for a fun dinner at the saloon and exploring Downtown Park City together. And maybe if it’s a new moon, doing some star gazing back by the cabin.
