Do you believe in soulmates? Both in friendship soulmates and romantic soulmates? This Grand Teton National Park Elopement made me believe in both even more. Besides being made for each other, Elizabeth and Juan also quickly made me feel we were instant friends. And then we spent all day together surrounded by the beauty of mountains and lakes. So, let me take you through the day with us at Grand Teton National Park celebrating Elizabeth and Juan’s elopement day.
We Started the Morning at Grand Teton National Park Before the Sun Woke Up.
We met before the sunrise for their ceremony. Elizabeth is an adventurer at heart and wanted to be surrounded by mountains and water for their elopement so that’s what we did. They exchanged rings and beautiful words surrounded by the majestic mountain views. The early morning sun painted them shades of gold and pink against the pale blue sky.
After all the love and emotion of the ceremony and pictures, it was time for a small picnic of scrumptious pastries, Elizabeth loves baking and they wanted to incorporate that love into their elopement day, it was perfect.
Of course, no pastry picnic is complete without some football, right?
At least not for this couple! Their love for Michigan College football brings them together. I’ll explain! You see, Elizabeth and Juan met many moons ago in a Facebook group for rival teams, and for years they talked trash online in good fun. That all changed one day when they went on a date and the good-natured rivalry was history. A couple that plays football together stays together!
One Facebook Group Changed at Least Two Lives For the Better, and This Grand Teton National Park Elopement Was the Result.
Bonds form in such an interesting way and we find ourselves connected to the people we belong with, and it applies to more than just romance and friendships! Truly, I feel like the couples that cross my path and become part of the Forever To the Moon family were meant to cross my path, and I was meant to cross theirs. I learn so much with each one of these beautiful souls. Elizabeth and Juan reminded me that some people just belong together, and they do.
So after pastries and some football throwing we ended the morning by heading into town for coffee and pizza. It was so fun to chat and get to know each other over two of my favorite things!
Then We Headed Back to Grand Teton National Park for more fun.
We hiked to some beautiful spots in Jackson, Wyoming in Grand Teton National Park and froze the memories in time for them to look back on forever. The beauty we saw on the hike was otherworldly. The intensity of the colors at the lake with the mountains and canyons reflecting in the pristine water. Then, we continued our full day of pictures and exploring in between the laughs and good conversations.
Then the Sun Started to Set Over the Grand Teton Mountains and We Found a Beautiful Spot to Toast the Day Away.
Elizabeth and Juan toasted wine to end their perfect elopement day surrounded by the mountains. Elizabeth put it best when we spoke about why they wanted to get married by the mountain views. She said that feeling so small in comparison brings a new level of mystique, and I agree. Feeling small in comparison to the breathtaking beauty of the mountains and the canyons and lakes of Grand Teton National Park is an indescribable feeling. Words could never do it justice, I guess that’s why a picture is worth a thousand words.
After spending all day together we weren’t quite ready to part ways! So instead we went to Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream in town for ice cream and goodbyes!
Elizabeth and Juan, Thank you so much for sharing a little bit of your story and your day with me. The customized details to express your love for each other left no doubt that you are meant to be together.
