There’s A LOT of reasons this has become a hot elopement destination: the thousands of waterfalls, the beautiful black sand beaches, the mossy canyons, the rugged mountains. There’s truly not many places out there like it, making it an even more magical place to tie the knot.
And there’s no shortage of beautiful spots to take your Iceland elopement photos. And if you’re looking for a real adventure, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I’m Alex, your friendly neighborhood nature lover, waterfall chaser, mountain explorer and Iceland elopement photographer!
My home base is in Utah, but I absolutely adore Iceland… I seriously wish I could live there! So I take every opportunity I can to visit Iceland and explore its hidden wonders. I’ve got a whole list of favorite spots and photo ops for your elopement day that I just can’t wait to show you!
When you elope in Iceland, you really can't go wrong with the location.
That being said, I understand that having so many options is overwhelming.
Lucky for you, I've done all the wondering down dirt roads and hiking random trails for you! I've got a whole list of all the best waterfalls and other unique spots for you and your partner to say "I do." (But I'm always down to get lost with you two if that's more your style!)

Iceland is moody in the best possible way. If you like warm sunny weather, it may not be the place for you. But, if you love a little adventure and are willing to brave the elements… its the perfect place for you!

What To Do For Your Iceland Elopement
I’d be willing to bet you’re looking for an adventure. As your Iceland elopement photographer, I’m down for anything!
Here are just a few things we can do before, during, or after your Iceland elopement:
- Take a hike!
- Cruise the highlands or a private beach on a 4×4 Land Cruiser.
- Take an EPIC helicopter tour to the top of a mountain!
- Try your hand at riding some Icelandic ponies.
- Experience nature on a Puffin or whale watching tour.
- Visit a volcano!!!
- Relax in a hot spring or geothermal pool!
- Check out an Ice Cave or Glacier
Unfortunately, you can't just show up to a waterfall, say "I do," and call it a day. There's a lot of planning involved!
