Epic Places to Elope in Moab
Or to just explore and enjoy!
Moab is unique in its diversity. Whatever vibes you’re dreaming of for your Moab elopement – woodsy, desert, adventurous, moody – we can make it happen.
Here are some of my favorite places to take my couples!
When you think of a Moab elopement, you probably picture Arches National Park. With its rich colors, picture-perfect sunsets, and namesake rock formations, Arches provides a beautiful backdrop for your special day. Plus, if you’re a climber, there are tons of opportunities to climb in the park. (Yes, you can even climb in your wedding dress!)
For those big, beautiful landscape shots, I love taking my couples to Canyonlands National Park. The rock formations in the distance create a gorgeous backdrop with their layers of color and jagged outline. We can even visit the ancient Native American stone carvings or raft the river while we’re there.

Castle Valley is the place to go for those Wild West vibes. (Seriously. Tons of old westerns were filmed there.) The town itself is tiny, but the landscape is huge. Plus, it’s really close to Arches National Park!
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) owns thousands of acres of land in Moab and across Utah. All this land is free to use (respectfully, of course). You can camp there, hike there, and yes, even elope there! Ask about my favorite BLM spots.

Alex is the most amazing Elopement photographer!! If you want a day that is intimate, unique to your needs and vision, you can count on Alex to go above and beyond to make your day perfect. We could not have found someone more caring and thoughtful who truly made us feel at ease taking photos and planning a wedding from out of state. Alex scoped out the trails multiple times beforehand to make sure they were accessible and had the exact feel and views that we were looking for. She sent us multiple vendors and options well ahead of time and thought of all the important things like snacks, keeping us on schedule, parking, and even came prepared with a pretty hanger (which I never would’ve thought of) to take pictures of my dress! All of the photos came out amazing and our family is forever grateful to have such gorgeous pictures since they couldn’t all be there in person. This experience definitely exceeded expectations and we will never forget it. Thank you so much Alex ❤️!!!!
Alex was incredible every step of the way! Seriously, if you are looking for an awesome elopement photographer, look no further.
We eloped at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The night had heavy wind and way more water than we were expecting. Alex came prepared for everything and had made a detailed plan with us beforehand on the shots we wanted and our vision for our big day.
She is a pleasure to work with, super knowledgeable, and professional.
We got our pictures back in less than 3 weeks and they were absolutely stunning and will be memories we cherish for a lifetime!
